I've spent forever trying to figure out, but I can't get the Hearthholme(or whatever its spelled) 3rd gym leader to go into her gym! What do I do?

u have to skip this gym for now cuz the leader isnt available and will become available further in the game

go to the next town that you can access

from the city that you're in, head south and you should battle your rival. After, take the southeast exit to the city, and pick up the pokemon egg from the man if you want. Then proceed through the docks, dug up area, enter the temple to the top if you want HM strength, or keep going through the rainy area to reach your next city =D
