It happens to me sometimes (using a vantec usb hdd adapter) if you press power while the HDD is in the middle of a read. The weird thing is HBC can read the drive perfectly fine after quitting the gamecube game, but if you start any other homebrew app from there it will hang during USB initialization (before it even tries to mount the HDD). At that point IOS has been reloaded at least twice so everything should be in a clean state.

The reason verification takes longer is most likely due to searching for free space to put the .dvv file, if you have a large drive that is fairly full it can take several seconds.

I'm not sure that reloading the same ios always clean usb related stuff. The worst thing is that sometime if you are in ios58 and reload ios58, the hdd is no more visibile (this happened, for example, in wiimednafen mod plugin. It was reloading ios58 to enable usb access, but it was not working from postloader (that reload ios58 before running dol) but worked in wiiflow (that was working in ios249). I have not idea if it is related to hdd usb interface or ios.

beside storage->shutdown(); I have no idea of other "way" to deinit usb... if you have any hint feel free to tell me :D

USB_Deinitialize(). But it makes no difference if you do it in your app, the new app must do it before it reloads IOS (if it has already called USB_Initialize()).

it is implemented in GX r1200, but you need to place the iso in the sub folder games/title [ID6]/game.iso
there is a setting on global setting and in each game setting to select if you want to run gameCube games using MIOS or Devolution.

You also need to place the loader.bin (from Devolution source package on the first page) in the correct folder (customizable).

Dumps made by GX (no compression, no align) are working and validating fine, but use Cleanrip if you have any problem.

I also changed the video mode in r1200, it's not forced to Disc default anymore, but use it as default setting as it has best result. It fix some games with wrong colors and lagging issue which were present in previous GX revision.
Some games (like 007) requires "force 480p" setting in GX when selecting progressive in-game. just try a different video mode if the games are lagging with Disc Default.

Don't forget to always test the game with the sample loader if you need to report any bug.

Personally I've never preferred LowLines-style icons. I like matriculated-style icons, which is what I model all mine after. But following a style doesn't make something stolen.

Anyway, we are getting off topic.

Sorry but if someone claims publicly that I have stolen an icon then I have the right to defend myself publicly.
First, it's not a different icon. Second, I have created this icon myself in approx. 30 minutes. Third, I have no idea what you mean by lowlines style. This is my photoshop work. And last but not least if someone distributes stuff without a license, then by default it's "All rights reserved", which means you are NOT permitted to re-distribute it without permission. Besides I have explicitly stated that this icon is for people using the sample loader (e.g. private use), not for sites who re-upload it without credit at all.

You are demanding that anybody who hosts a 30 minute icon give you credit?

PS: These are lowlines' icons: http://llref.emutalk.net/projects/wiistyle/

I am not demanding anything. This is simple copyright law FYI.
