Hacking DevMenu on 9.4

its posible to install dev menu with a gateway in 9.2 then uninstall everything from gateway and update to 9.4

if not its posible to install devmenu intsall some 3dsware and uninstall everything and then update

you can only install devmenu to emuNAND, which you can only run using the gateway. updating to 9.4 would stop you from running the gateway, and thus accessing emunand and devmenu.

You cannot play pirated cia games on official SysNand.

If you are talking about updating your Emunand from 9.2 to 9.4 using the newly released Gateway update 2.7, you are fine and don't need to uninstall anything at all afaik.

ok that was my question because my friend has a 3ds and im going to buy a gateway in Xmass to give him some games thanks for your answer

Next question you can play legit games on updated Emunand like a Pokemon Y cartidge

Yes, you can play legit cartridges in Gateway "Classic Mode".

Be aware that Gateway has not released their update for 9.2 official firmware (SysNAND) support yet -- so unless Gateway release it until christmas, or your friend has a 3DS on Firmware 4.5, he cannot use the gateway.

Keep in mind the difference between sysnand and emunand, becaue if you fuck up, good bye GW and hello sky3ds (w/ a sad face)
