well, 4:27am, just helping on the new audio branch.

Dunno yet when I go to bed, still have a beer going
Beer? Jeez, you're surely going to stay up tonight. (kinda like me)
Also, that was your 700th message.
What fixes are included in the new audio branch again?

No fixes, rather reworking some code.

We want to get rid of video_threaded as it is bad practice, but we need that for performance, so we gonna throw audio on a thread

Edit: Thats >22 posts a day, woops

Thanks. Sorry I'm probably just being a newb here but I'm just using the home button to exit games this is not correct, how do I exit the content properly?
It's the equivalent of dropping a orbital nuke on the process

Menu -> "Close Content"

Stupid question maybe, but I'm asking anyway ^^

All my emu were working great but the save cfg on exit don't work. I Know.
Then I modified cfg's in notepad with the following :

integer scale = true (for my overlays)
assign the rewind -2 (joystick right to the left)
assign the fast forward toggle to the right so +2
granuality 2
enable rewind in option = true
save state = 4 (L3)
load state = 5 (R3)

now i'm stuck at a black screen on boot without knowing why :(

Config files are driving me nuts. I have to do the following.

1. Start fresh.
2. Begin configuring directory paths, video settings, button configurations, etc.
3. Save as a new configuration file. (for me, it gets stored into my "switch" folder.
4. Delete original "retroarch.cfg" in whichever emu you are trying to reconfigure.
5. Copy/paste the newly created configuration file into the emu you are trying to reconfigure.
6. Rename the configuration file to "retroarch.cfg"
7. Load up the emulator, then check what you've edited, you'll see the changes.

I joined discord, and obtained all the newly updated emus as of 6-23-18. It's a bit hectic for configuring, hopefully it gets easier, so hopefully I'll get spared with the expletives from m4xw, heh.

Also, the MAME2003 I grabbed today, I'm unable to load any rom. I press A, and it just hangs, having to hit home button on my switch.

Does work

Hey m4xw, I loaded mame and altered the Aspect Ratio to either "custom" or "4:3" and it still hangs when loading a rom file from the browser.

I use "payload_5.1.0_1.3_1GBparts" I do not own sxos, or have its payload. I'll delete the .cfg and try again.

Ok, I did a complete remoal of the "retroarch" folder on my sdcard. I ran MAME2003 fresh, and I noticed now that there are newly created directories. So I rebooted, and I forced the Aspect Ratio to 4:3, and I got a game to launch, thank you for that tidbit.

BTW, these newly updated emus are FANTASTIC! I haven't tried them docked, but FCEU, SNES, VBA, STELLA, GENESIS, just wow!!!

Make sure you don't wipe your save files like me xD
