AUDIO AND FULL 4K SUPPORT OF COURSE
Wait, your switch does not support 4K?
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
btw no idea what causes the Audio issues right now.
Your referring to the latest vba test build.
Loading save states also seems to freeze the emulator with that version for me.
Didnt have that happen even once
Really, hmm maybe 2am had something to do with it, I'll try again just to see.
No time for sleep these days.
Vsync off does fix most audio scratching.
Wtf that didnt happen before, did it?
No not at all but maybe something just went wrong during transfer. Sometimes sending a file through ftp they can act funny once you go to use them.
Very rare tho, usually just overwrite and good to go.
With the latest builds of the emulator and hekate can confirm no curruptions in about a week which is great.
I meant the audio scratching..
There were no code changes that could cause it.Oh ok yes I noticed that also with the audio, did not do that before from what I can recall.
Previous build was the MOST stable for me.
There were no code changes that could cause it.
That was going to be my next question, very odd why it would do that then.
Just building new threaded fullscreen builds to fix the cracks. Adjusted audio buffer size and disabled vsync hardcoded (this is far from ideal)
Could you check https://git.m4xw.net/Switch/RetroArch/VBA-Next/pipelines/452 once its rdy ?
Edit: nvm still sucks. Weird cracks still persists even w/o vsync if vsync is set to true...

Note: This is synced to the audio framerate wise, until I figure out whats going on
