Exactly the reason why I still have a shelved 3.0.0 Switch :lol:
I’m exactly like you my switch is on 3.0.0.
We have JIT on libNX functionally (this feature currently is exclusively on 3.0.0) wish devs find ways to implement it on later versions as well.

BTW I asked many people they said it really worth to wait on this fw because maybe we’ll get atmosphere without jig or anything like that.

Yes indeed :)
3.0 and below are still golden due the possibility of coldboot hacks without hardware mods.

ive had to do this like 3 times its annoying lol. do you use the mount sd in tegrarcm? might be from homebrew crashing. trying to figure it out

I'm saving all Switch Games to a Backup Micro Sd card.

I advise people to do the same before they find out too late that switch game or save data wont load type of thing.

MANY are having this issue idk what it is probably something to do with errors or something.

Backup micro sd cards from now on.

You had any issues with game data or save data currupted loading a switch app?

Can't tell, my Switch is still packaged, haven't used it for any hacking since purchase. Sorry.

Yes I know that but redownloading the game does not always fix the issue. Does start up after redownloading for you?

Last time j tried it didn't.

Probably all the testing and crashing last night with the SNES emulator.

Well worth it tho with what we have now.

Its official switch games on one micro sd, homebrew on another.

5gb to spare on 128gb filled with only switch games.

200gb micro sd card 10gb free homebrew and switch games, corruption on the regular

Guys please try to stay on topic here! This is a development thread for RetroArch libNX, not a thread about corrupt game files!

Anyways, does anybody really need gambatte/fceumm with the newest version right now?
Otherwise I will look into finding a way to get cores out faster (automated build scripts) for each new release, which should be ready once 1.0 hits.

Wow went to start fifa 18 and data was currupted.

Second time game data was currupted on me I dont understand.

Maybe it's a homebrew effect idk

Ready to redownload ALL MY SWITCH GAMES to another micro sd.

Idk maybe all the testing last night lol

I figured it was a problem with exfat on my end (my card only got fucked by the ftpd app tho)

If its caused by the app, then its in-scope ;)

It was on topic my card got currupted during testing for the RetroArch SNES Emulator.

People should be aware of ANY possible side effects from things. Most important with the latest update the Eshop window will be closed better to know sooner then later

As for the latest version of RetroArch it is running great.

@m4xw had to edit that config and put back slow mo for myself lol seems to be working again for me, maybe something in the final config editing process messed it up or just dumb luck. No big deal for now.

There are some slowdowns here and there say when first saving a state the game may get slow for a few seconds, but catches back up soon enough.

All this plus the Galaxy S8 and development can continue even on the go

Thanks to both for your tireless work (especially in Leonidas in this case) :) . Here's my 5.0.2 feedback:

First off, unlike other GBA emus I've tried this one supports zip/gba files, so awesome work there. No crashes with the right analog stick this time (though I've noticed moving it left/right either rewinds the emu or slows it down, could explain crashes with the SNES core). Save and load states, although relatively slow, work fine too and most importantly, no crashes :D. Gameplay performance was mostly solid, although there was slowdown in some games, including Mario Advance (the one that's the port of Super Mario World), as well as slowdown in music.

Only major downside is the audio is distorted, same crackling I've seen with other emus, but it's distorted in other ways too and is quite noticeable, like it sounds "fuzzy". Happens consistently regardless of me loading a .gba or.zip rom. Even tried .gb games converted to .gba and had the same issue. One other minor thing, the screen horizontally overlaps the overlay a touch, though you're probably already aware of this and I'd put it down to what I assume is a different resolution/aspect ration between SNES and GBA.

"Transcend", how appropriate

Don't want to sound rude or anything, but may I kindly ask if you could perhaps upload lower res images from now on please?
The ones you've been uploading are quite hi res and take a while to load on my devices, and some of them chug when loadingbthem :P

@Leonidas87 you didnt set slowmotion_ratio to 1.0 like i told u..

@Ty_

I do some audio buffer calculations based on a fixed framerate number. Probably that. I didn't try any ROMs with that one. Busy on threading / multi cpu core support

slowmotion_ratio = "1.700000" to slowmotion_ratio = "1.000000" in the cfg disabled the slow down
