Gaming Desura

so a nice guy from another forum gave away 'The Humble Indie Pack #2' and i was the first to PM him .
i successfully received it , and it gave me 4 options :
- Redeem On Steam
- Redeem on Desura
- Redeem on OnLive
- Just Download

i'm well informed about Steam and OnLive then i went to Desura's website to see what it was . http://www.desura.com/ looked like Steam because of the Dark color scheme .
has anyone tried it ? to me it seems like Steam where you buy games and they're binded to your account .

i might DL it to see what the UI looks like and see if it gives out a nice feel .

LOL . i noticed that , they currently have 41 games , and have been running since 09' :\

Basically it was created by ModdDB as a way to make mod installation more accessible, however very few developers signed with their platform, and thus doomed it to obscurity.
