Hi Guys,

Really desperate for help on this one and you guys seem to be the most clued up regarding how the switch works.
I have a switch on the latest system patch. The Switch is not modded and it never has been.
I am unable to turn the console on and do not get any indication of a charge when using multiple known good chargers.
When seated in the dock the TV detects the switch being plugged in (no picture) and the dock light flashes for like half a second.

I have tried every manner of button resets and cannot get a response. I took the switch apart and unhooked the battery. Issues still persists. I have left on charge
overnight as well.

When I Plug into my PC using a USB-C cable my Computer detects it. I have loaded up TegrarcmGUI and this detects as "RCM O.K." I am at a loss on what to do. I take good care of my switch and is in good condition.

I use it multiple times a day and this issue appeared out of nowhere. I cant really afford a new one at the moment and refuse to believe it isbroken if the PC detects the device. What can I do at this point?

wait you said it is not and was never modded...but you say tegra rcm says rcm ok.....sounds like auto rcm.....

Yeah I have never modded. I was only using tegra as was a suggestion on another thread which worked for someone else. I have never modified or attempted to modify the system.

have you tried launching cfw yet? you won't get banned online

Will I be able to launch on a patched system that has never been modified?

Can you tell if the backlight is turning on. Sounds like it could be the charge IC or video IC has shorted. Can be an easy fix for those with the knowledge and correct soldering equipment and is not for the faint of hart. There are videos on YouTube showing how the repair is made. If under warranty you can send to Nintendo for this known issue.

I suggest to keep it charging for a whole day connect the charger directly to the console and leave it for a whole night. I've seen this behavior with AutoRCM (this is why I never use it) maybe this will work for you. The other option if to try a new battery or Nintendo repair (not sure what you were expecting by using Tegra, hope it didn't leave any logs otherwise even Nintendo won't repair it)
