Gaming Desktop is slow >_<

Ooohhh. That's cool. iunno right now. Since I just re-installed windows. I am just gonna see how it turns out for a while. That list of programs? Those are the ones that I am suspecting to be slowing down my desktop.

So. I know what's slowing your PC now. It's probably rocketdock now because Stardock is the same as rocketdock and it made my laptop to go slow. Though Im not sayin you remove it ASAP but I was just comparing the two programs.

I never again install any similar programs. I love the program but it's RAM-hungry. Im the same as you that loves the program but have you notice any difference before installing it?

Yahoo Messenger IS NOT RAM Hungry. If something is slow at startup, Yahoo will follow it. It's not making it slow, it's being slow because SOMETHING is being done first.

BTW, there's no remove button for Stardock. Pffft!!!

they eat up a lot of cpu and ram

So it must be the docks... Sigh... And I really liked them. But I can live. It was nice to have shortcuts at the click of a button, but going through teh start menu isn't that bad.

Go to task manager and see how much ram rocketdock is using, it shouldn't be using more the 10 mb ram. And to another user who said that rocketdock is the same as stardock, your wrong it isn't.

I didnt see your OS listed. If its Windows 7, you can use the superior resoruce monitor to track down the culprit. And what 'sort' of slow is it?

Also, Process Explorer could help you as well, even if not on Win7

According to my comp, it was using 8MB of my RAM. How about you guys? Chrome was using more memory.
