You could delete the game and then re-download it again.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work. Once you've downloaded it, a flag is wrote to your 3DS to say how many times you've launched the title. Sort of like how a 'firstrun' entry would work for old shareware games in your Windows registry.

The only real way around it (aside from when the 3DS gets hacked of course) is to just re-format your 3DS as someone said a few posts up. But I don't see why you'd want to reset the counter when nearly every game, as far as I'm aware, has at least 10+ plays on it and doesn't really have enough content to warrent you revisiting it. I guess the one demo I've played the most was Theatrhythm, and even then I've still got plays left over. If you like the game that much you could always help out the dev and buy it!

To tell you the truth I thought the same since I've downloaded them a week ago. But they are so small that you won't feel that you'll need to play them again, at least for me that's the case. Except the rhythm games since I want to perfect them. But I'll finish all the other, delete them and replay those as much as possible.
