Hey man I was going to format my own Wii to experiment xD You saved my Mario Kart save file (wich can't be copied I think).

I think the best way is just to delete the games, in normal ways. I really think Nintendo doesn't matter about that ticket history. And if they, just buy the games, so the tickets will be overwrited.

You can't just buy the games because they show up as 0 points required in the shop channel and as "downloadable"

We really need a ticket remover.

if thats the case, it would also delete the tickets for VC games i have bought so i wouldnt be able to download them again would i???

Yes, formatting your Wii changes your Wii's ID number and you will lose all the games you bought as well and can not re-download them without buying them again.

I really doubt that. Have you tried it?

No, I don't need to try it when Nintendo has announced this.

It does not say that. It suggests that you delete your Wii Shop account first if you want to make it like-new, but it does not say that you will lose it if you do not. Sure, it's making an assumption that you are selling it and want to clear it first (HA!), but it is unclear on whether or not the format actually deletes it.

Guess formatting system memory would also format your wii shop account. In which case:

Note: You should format your Wii Shop Channel and Wii console's system memory prior to selling or otherwise transferring your Wii console to any third party. (For information about privacy and the protection of your personal information, click here.)

To clear information from the Wii Shop Channel, including records of your transactions and rights to download software:

1. Access the Wii Shop Channel.
2. Select "Settings" from the list of options.
3. Select "Remove Wii Shop Channel Account."

Once completed, all information will be erased.

Uhuh? Not for me. They appear as normal, and I can buy them for a bunch of points.

And because Kirby is a great game I bought it

They're acting like that because Nintendo sent them a C&D order (cease and desist) pretty much stating "get this shit off of there or we will sue your ass to hell and back"

Ha ha super sweet, so it is true what they say, if u dont ask u dont get.!!!!

Thanks go to waninkoko, bushing and the others for this and i hope that others are just as greatful for this as i am!!!!!

hah, it's funny for nintendo to make it be this way, but now that the VC has been hacked people can get back their games they paid for without having to be ripped of by nintendo...again, epic win
