Hacking default start options

When the Acekard is started, the games are listed with the icons next to them. I know it is possible to press SELECT to get rid of the icons. Just wondering if there is a way to make it start without the icons. That way, I'll never have to press the SELECT button again and my life will be perfect

Use AKAIO and set it in the Advanced settings window

akaio saves the view setting on click of Select.
