Homebrew Decrypt9 won't launch

I can't launch Decrypt9 from homebrew, all is get is a red bottom screen. I did every step in this tutorial https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki But now I am stuck at step 7 of part 4. https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-4-(Getting-the-OTP)
I know it says that it could take a few times, but I have been trying for hours and it still doesn't work.
Hopefully there is someone here who can help me.


I have ver. 9.2.0-20E and I'm launching it via sysnand.

Sysnand on 9.2 or lower? Also make sure you're doing it on sysnand, not emunand.

You have successfully run custom firmware before, right? I guess you would have if you followed the tutorial to that point.

And you're certain that you have the necessary files for D9 in their proper places?

I can launch Cakes,TinyFormat and EmuNAND9 if that's what your asking.
Well the tutorial only told me to copy 2 files(Decrypt9WIP.3dsx and Decrypt9WIP.smdh) and the map(Decrypt9WIP).

With custom firmware he means CakesCFW, Reinand, Rxtools , etc...

Cool. Being able to launch EmuNAND9 means that you ought to have proper arm9 access. You're sure you have the files for D9 in the right place for them?

I have (Decrypt9WIP.3dsx and Decrypt9WIP.smdh) inside a map called Decrypt9WIP that itself is inside a map called 3ds.

Decrypt9 also doesn't have a logo when I try to launch it, all the other custom firmware do have an icon. I don't know if this is important.
I already have tried different versions of decrypt9 with the exact same problem.

Not really sure what the issue is then. If you were to try launching Emunand9 right now, it would work, right? If it works there's no reason that Decrypt9 shouldn't work.

There should be an icon visible in the homebrew launcher though. That's what the smdh file is.

Well there is a question mark as a icon and Emumand9 launches just fine.
