You know if that was an actual DS game I would take the time to learn it better, but man playing such a flash game is a pain in the ass.

The vector one... it's graphics appeal to me more.

Does the desktop one have any reason to get it over vector, or will I be happy with vector?

Vector TD is a traditional tracks TD. Desktop TD is one where you create your own tracks, and you can draw your own creeps and stuffz.

Also, and Also plugin. I love Tower Defenses, especially portable ones. I wish my iPod Touch had a camera, and I would do the enhanced reality TD.

Some good DSiWare tower defense games:

• Viking Invasion
• Starship Patrol
• FIELDRUNNERS

I'd say fieldrunners was the most fun, followed by starship patrol and viking invasion.

There was a homebrew one named something along the lines of "Piztog's Tower Defence" which was reasonably decent. And Warcraft Tower Defence as mentioned above is awesome too.

I didn't know desktop tower defence or vector tower defence had DS ports, that's interesting...both homebrew? I'm quite a tower defence fan myself.
