I am not up to date on the for want of a better word drama surrounding the decryption apps (the focus got shifted to apples DRM, windows DRM and the "HD" formats at which point I stopped caring enough to follow the minutia of it all).
The main website went down courtesy of some action by someone (macrovision if I recall, failing that sony (they are the two biggest legal types)) but nothing happened against the app like it did for dvd decrypter and ripit4me and the pcgedit plugin.
The author supposedly went to work for nero (if you look at some of the earliest versions of nero recode you will undoubtedly see a very strong resemblance).
