but the latest July builds seem to have made it slower or broken something, that or it
also needs files from visual studio 2015 + update 3 for debugging features.

I've got Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 installed, but Decaf won't run. Guess I'll have to install Visual Studio 2015 too.

I guess I'm missing something.

The newest versions use decaf-sdl instead of just decaf

To be clear, if there is no decaf.exe or decaf.bat in your current directory or path, you will receive that error.

Executable files are currently:
decaf-cli.exe
decaf-sdl.exe

But of course you should not need the ".exe" part

You could modify/edit your test.bat file with the correct filenames.

When you download/build the program, you will have two executables, "decaf-cli.exe" and "decaf-sdl.exe". The SDL version contains the graphics handlers and GX2 function calls.
Therefore, in a command prompt you will need to type "decaf-sdl play C:\path\to\game\vol"

If you want, you can create a batch script (bat file) with that command if you don't want to type it yourself over and over. If you need help with batch scripts, you will get an answer faster by performing a simple search of the interwebs than posting here.
