Homebrew Suggestion Dear Emulator-Developers

Dear Emulator-Developers.

Yes, Switch is hacked and the door for emulators is open. For now I have a Wii U and all Emulators I need are there, but I miss one. Dreamcast. Of couse, I can use a real Dreamcast and I have two here, but my eyes are too bad to play on TV. The only way to play games for me is to use a tablet. That's the reason why I love the Wii U and it's tablet. The Switch is a console with a tablet, too. So it would be great so see Dreamcast emulated on Switch and so I can play my old games.

For now I have no Switch, because there is nothing that I realy want to play, but if I can play Dreamcast-games I would buy the console instant. The Switch is young and I hope someone will spent time to port an existing Emulator.

Just buy it, if you know its gonna happen? Waiting is bad, prices for 3.0.0 units will sky rocketing in future..

Sit closer to the TV? Or get a bigger TV?
Or alternatively consider eye surgery.
I have an albino friend that is legally blind (surgery can't fix it) and uses a TV as his monitor and he is able to read stuff or play games on it fine. The text on the Switch screen can be pretty small because the games are designed with the home console first, handheld second thing in mind and i think you'd find it's actually harder to play on the small screen than it is on a big TV.

maybe buy an old dreamcast , because we have already trouble with some other easy emulation and you come around with wishes.

You could connect your DC to a computer monitor via VGA and sit close. It will look and play amazing .

3.0.0 is and for foreseeable future will be the only fw for homebrew for average user. So, good luck with that.

I don't know what your 'forseeable future' is, but that would indicate something a lot different to what we are reading.

Didn't f0f Linux tease video feature a glx based spheres demo at 57 seconds?
Wouldn't that imply a semi-figured GPU implementation?

Just ask plutoo. He does not want to create for anything higher than 3.0.0 for now.
