Actually, you're going off of what fubka was originally saying. He was listing the prices for the console and controllers only. so, the HD-DVD and eyetoy are irrelevant.

Futureshop is canadian, so this is a canadian price. US retailers, apart from Gamestop who acknowledge that they are overcharging, sell the WM+ for about US$20. That puts the Wii price down to $510.
Also, the Wii MotionPlus is an additional motion controller nd not part of the core control set, so for comparability, we would need to add the Natal thing for the 360 (whose price-to-be is yet to be revealed) and the PlayStation Eye, probably even with a set of wands, whose price is unknown as well, to the PS3.
The Eye cann apparently be purchased for about $35, yielding a PS3 price point of $600. The Xbox does not even have any competitive features yet, so for a fair comparison, let us skip the "extended controls":
Wii = $430, 360 = $450, for the PS3, we use the sixaxis to be fair, which costs about $30 nowadays, which gives us a price of $490.

Though i doubt it, as nintendo is a bit slow when it comes to these things.

By the way, I find it incredibly difficult to believe there will ever be a game that will require more than two WM+ adapters at once. I argue nobody will ever need to buy more than two. So hack $40 off the cost of owning a Wii if you even include WM+.

How wrong you are Hooya. If you have 3 friends who you play Tiger Woods with you would not want to swap remotes every time so 4 WM+ is the only way to go. I know I will need 3 to start.
