I love the free shipping knowing how far the stuff has the travel in the first place. My guess is that shipping has already been calculated into every item they sell. The wait no bother because most of the time I get stuff that I need to use later on for projects and stuff. I just forget about my order, then all the sudden it pops up in front my door. It's like a surprise gift that takes your money!

As for things I need right away, I would either go with something like RHS. They don't have an assortment of random crap like DX, though.

Order from DealExtreme = awesome selection, great price, no shipping, wait 2-3 weeks for delivery stateside.
Order from RealHotStuff = awesome staff, very prompt responses if you need to discuss something with them, receive shipment in 2 days or less through DHL.

I support both dealsextreme and RHS.

But when deals is out of stock, it can be quite variable when you get it (not their fault I guess).

I was shipped all but my micro sd card when they ran short on them. Too many impatient people were cancelling the entire order when they were told they might actually have to wait a week.

People today are waaaaaaaaay to f**king impatient. I want it yesterday. Christ.

They can have it to you in a week if stock is there.

RealHotStuff still haven't replied to my email about unable to order. A week and I'm still waiting..

They're actually quite good, but if something is wrong with your order (for example the wrong color) it's really hard to get a replacement.

i had no problems getting a broken tft replaced, i sent it back and received a working one within 10 days.

One thing you can say about dealextreme, that eaven if they cheat on you and say that item is in stock because they didnt updated it, they are fair with cancelling orders, I waited almost 1 month for one item that was instock when I bought and suddenly been out of stock after buying, but yesterday I cancelled order and they gived me email that they will renurn money in few days from now.

It's a pretty good place with incredible prices, but with slow shipping speeds (hey, if you're letting the world have free shipping, of course it's slow).

I'd rather use RealHotStuff for getting things fast, but if you're on a low budget and you're okay with not getting things in for a bit of a long time, go for DealExtreme. Got two orders off of there with no problems.
