Hoping they don't add DLC if it is anything like the Ryder White DLC.
There was something wrong with the first game, maybe it was the level scaling, weapons or the repetitive nature of the game. Hopefully they will listen to the fans and change the game.

Let's hope we don't have a repeat of the crap we got with the last game. Dead Island was a serious disappointment.
Edit: Do you have a better source than game informer?

Here's hoping we have a Riptide-roaring success on our hands.

The only thing ripping here is assholes.

Dead Island looked like a game with so much promise, going from that really touching trailer (the reverse-slo-mo one) to some HOODOO DE VOODOO BITCH average stuff. Can't say I have much faith in a sequel.

I enjoyed Dead Island a lot, took a while to get into it though but this "sequel" sounds nothing more than a expansion pack. As much as I enjoyed the first game, it could have been a lot better and a sequel could have easily fixed some issues.
