Looks pretty good! Is it just me or is that trailer giving off some major gaucamelee vibes right now? Because that's what immediately popped into my head watching the trailer.

Never heard of this game, I think I'll try it, though I wish if they did pixel art, it look a bit more like NES like shovel knight or sonic mania rather than like Super motion blur, remind me of the first nidhogg game.

I haven't played enough Guacamelee to know for sure, but Dead Cells is a procedural-generated roguelike action-platformer that plays kinda like Hollow Knight (or a 2D Dark Souls). The controls are tight and the game is tough but fair. Each run you'll find different weapons and items to build around.

With over 13k reviews it's got about a 95% positive rating on Steam.

From what you described the gameplay sounds similar, however guacamelee isn't procedurally generated iirc. I haven't played hollow knight yet because I'm waiting for the switch release. I'm probably going to pick this up too for the switch, it looks great!

Hell yeah!

Dead Cells = Good game. Can't play it for my life lol, but its most certainly a very promising Early Access game.

Switch is getting a strong ports library, which is good for a handheld console.

I've been watching it for a while, I even have it on my wishlist but I refuse to pay to play on early access. I get that feel of paying to be a beta tester. I'll wait for the game to be completed.
