I use gateway emunand to play Pokemon X and Y. Will I be able to edit my save.?Btw is Datel power saves region free?




FYI:I am planning to generate Pokemon from X and Y to ORAS

You cannot use powersaves with gateway. You can use pkhex instead with gateway if you played on emunand.

Works in emunand mode only. If you are playing a .3ds or .3dz rom with gateway it will work.

No, only with dumped ROMs, be they your own or scene releases. savedatafiller cannot be used with retail cartridges, therefore it is impossible to read/write to a cartridge's ROM.

Correct me if I'm wrong, assuming OP has been playing Pokemon in classic mode, can't he dump his ROM and maintain the save in his ROM copy?

Yes, but he won't be able to restore it to the original cartridge once edited.

Well, he says he's planning on generating pokemon in X and Y for ORAS. He'd just need to dump his rom, edit the save via dumping with SaveDataFiler, and then load the ROM in pokebank. That way he could transfer the modified XY mons to ORAS. Since they're going to ORAS anyways, it doesn't matter if the save isn't on his cart.

Yes, if the purpose is no more than transferring Pokémon, it will suffice.
