Sorry if this is a noob question, I've never had a PSP before, but I'm getting myself a psp3000 and some accessories for it (lite blue tool, memstick 4gb) and I was wondering if anyone has a link guide to using the lite blue tool to hack it to run CSOs or whatever. Thanks a ton if you can help!

The psp 3000 is unhackable atm. The lite blue tool puts it in service mode but there is no custom firmware for the psp 3000 so it is useless for now. I mean, you could still get both of them, but you might have to wait for a hack.

Okay, thanks. I'll wait for a custom firmware

. *waits*

According to D_A, Datel rushed to get this product out in the hopes that he/m33, other PSP hackers would be able to figure out everything by then so they could, once again, capitalize on their work. The new motherboard uses a Pre-IPL to block the battery from blindly taking the PSP into service mode so it could very well render the Lite Blue Tool useless for the 3000. Thus it would basically be a more expensive Pandora's Battery for PSP1/2000.

Or just get a PSP 2000 below OFW 4.05, buy a Pandora's battery and Bob's your uncle.
