I have an old 3.2U Wii that I originally installed the "Softmii" package on (hey, I was new and I am suitably ashamed
).
All worked fine for years but I decided I should upgrade to 4.1U finally. Just to be careful my first step is to get rid of the old cIOScorp. I used Darkcorp v1.1 to uninstall cIOScorp and then I used sysCheck to compare the results. Several IOS still have the revision number of 65535 suggesting that Darkcorp didn't replace them all.
IOS11 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug
IOS20 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug
IOS30 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug
IOS40 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug
IOS70 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug
IOS250 (rev 65535): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB 2.0
No errors were reported while Darkcorp was doing the uninstall. Should I be worried? Is this supposed to work this way?
Thanks in advance for replies.
Update: I did more research and this is what someone posted in another forum about those IOS:
IOS 11 (v10): Used only by System Menu 2.0 and 2.1.
IOS 20 (v12): Used only by System Menu 2.2.
IOS 30: Used by System Menu 3.0 (v1037), 3.1 (v1039), 3.2 (v1040), and 3.3 (v2576).
IOS 40 (v2320): Korean 3.3 System Menu IOS. (Stub v3072 installed for later System Menus)
IOS 70 (v6687): Used by System Menu 4.2
IOS 250 (v65535): A copy of IOS249 designed by Waninkoko as a fallback in case of accidental deletion, corruption, or official update (stub) of the cIOS in the 249 slot.
It looks like IOS 250 always has that version number. The only critical one seems to be IOS30 since my system is a 3.2U.
Should I manually fix those remaining IOS files or ignore?
