I don't know, cause being the game in japanese I understand nothing
There is a kind of story mode, is the one where you gain stars but it hasnt really a storyline... just that you and your band are improving as performers in the club.

There's not really a story, more like a career mode where you play and earn stars if you score 90+ on a song.
