Hacking D2PRO chip and update 4.2

Hi all,

Just a quick question... My Wii is a PAL model with firmware version 4.1E at the minute.
I have a D2PRO chip v2.0 fitted and was wondering if it is OK to upgrade to the latest Wii firmware 4.2?
I searched the subject on forums, but other than noises about not being able to play import backups, I haven't found much else.
This wouldn't be a problem for me as I only ever run PAL games, no NTSC.

Not much difference between 4.1 and 4.2, so I wouldn't update unless you really want to. Have you got softmods on your Wii as well your hardmod?
