Okay i never make new posts because there is usually someone else already asked but this time I cant find the answer. Please forgive me.

I'm running a 11.2.035U o3dsxl with CFW Luma3DS. I've been trying to install themes since yesterday but it all fails. I'm using the CHMM2 v2.8 from the website. I have tried both the .cia and the app from homebrew, but everytime i load the themes and I go back to my menu, I have the default white theme.

I have installed the folder in many different ways to make it work but it doesnt. Currently i have the folder like this.

When I try to run the app its called "BLEND3R" it will load my themes. I press "A" it will says "installing theme" then I press "Start">"Exit CHMM2." It will turn of my 3DS. I power on and No theme.

When I try to run the .cia named CHMM it will say "No theme recognized" I press "B" to scan for themes. I will show the, I press "A" it says "Installing theme", then "START">"Exit". It goes to the the power off screen, I press "HOME" and same default theme.

Any ideas? Sorry, again I tried to make this as clear as I could.

Im assuming you havent created extdata for the theme to mount, since it keeps going back to white. Change your theme to blue and then try.

It didnt work, it actually went back to white.
Odd, i can only assume that maybe the theme is broken, or you have to delete and remake the home menu extdata. First, try installing a different theme. If that doesn't work, which honestly it probably won't, you need to delete a folder. Go into the Nintendo 3ds folder, the folder with all the numbers and letters (if there is more than one, do it for all of them unless you are sure which one is your unique sysnand), the numbers and letters again, extdata, 0000008f, and delete the 00000000 folder. I'd make a backup of it just in case this doesn't work. Then, make your theme blue again and try your custom theme.

Happened to me before when I was using .3dsx version of chmm2 2.8, then I found out win10 states my sd card needs to repaired, after I repaired it every was fine immediately
My sd card loads fine and even opens automatically for me, so Im not sure if it is a faulty SD card.

Well mine was fine loading everything as well, I'm assuming it's some memory corrupt after I messed up with chmm2, but yeah try deleting home menu extdata

Im trying that. I have 3 32 character folders. Im backing up the whole Nintendo folder.
Its 7GB.
Every time you format your nand or put the sd card in a different 3ds, it makes a new folder. To find out which one you use, right click and hit properties on each folder. 2 will be several kilobytes, while 1 will be 7gb. The 7gb is yours, since it has the games in it.

I mean that it doesnt show me the repair option.

Woow that is cool! I was aving trouble trying to find out which one was my sysnand when I was installing a9lh+luma. 1 is 46 MB, the otherone is 263 MB, nd the last one is 6.90 MB.
