Custom edges Creating file
I leave now 2 files for creating custom borders.
Just edit the files using them as the basis of their creations.

Some information
Not edit the width and height
Do not take AutoShapes their positions.
Moreover you can edit all colors, effects and what you want.

A tip to make a perfect edge.
Avoid using effects of inflation because the edges are left with a risk on the hinges.
Mount an edge with a trace of 1px or 2px this fix errors if you apply many effects.

Example edge with 2px.



The pixels of space are at the top, right and bottom.
If you realize this the image with black background and exta 2px edge down.

So staying the 3DS.

If this edge additional 2px repaired the effects on the edge preventing it is with errors on the edges.

Examples of edges that can be created with these files.
To make these edges just work over the editable files.
The only file serves as a base for you to edit it and create yourself your own borders without any error width or height.



Remember that to make these edges or any edge and need to know tinker in Photoshop or any other image editor.

To make the background image in the folder is simple.
Simply create a square with the same color gradient effect and stretch covering too black background.

I always put a fund with the same picture to avoid black lines or image size errors.
Here's how I made the images below.

Use the files that I left available on site.

Custom Folders for 3DS version 2
At the request of some users who have contacted me by private message board asking how I make my folders.
For this reason I will be providing a package with editable files in Fireworks and Photoshop. Together with two examples.
Any doubt is only sending questions by private message panel.

Note 1: I decided to provide a more elaborate example for you to understand how to apply the effects in folders.

Note 2: And to make these folders do not need to redo the editable files just change the images of AutoShapes and apply effects.

And easier to use Fireworks.
Literally what you will do and change the funds of the AutoShapes.
Then apply effects and issues the way you want.
In Photoshop and more complicated because you have to keep applying masks in all the AutoShapes.
There is a mess.
Fireworks and more simple to make customized folders.

Useful effects to use in creating the folders.
1- Inner Shadow Effect. (Improves the folder view.)
2- noise effect with 2%. (Applies a stone effect the image.)

Note: AutoShapes I made each item of a color to the user know to define what should be edited.

You see how your theme was much more detachable with this effect in your folder.
A hint: If you apply cracked stone texture effect in the folder would give a much greater emphasis on its theme 3ds .
The edge would also be cool with cracked stone texture .
Then I 'll post some pictures showing how and what I do to create my folders using fireworks .

It means that I will provide pictures of how to use Fireworks to create folders and edges.
I recommend that you use the version of Fireworks Cs5 since his Css6 version has some rendering bugs can put your CPU with high heat without .
I have CS5 and CS6 portable version and the version CSS5 besides being much lighter works the same way as the css6.
I could do a tutorial explaining how to do this in Photoshop with everything would be extremely complicated.
In fireworks make a custom folder would have to post a maximum of five images already photoshop fifteen images.
