Hacking Custom Theme on 3.3?

Hey everyone. Thinking of installing a Custom Theme for my friend's Wii. However, I've been reading guides saying they're only for 3.2, 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2.

He currently is on 3.3. I'm assuming that I won't be able to safely have a Custom Theme? I'm looking at the DarkWii theme on the Mym Repository saying that it works on "Any Wii", but this guide says otherwise: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/sy...hacks/Mymenuify

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

basically if the theme aint for the SM,dont install or=brick

Okay, follow up question, which APP file do I need for 3.3?

I don't know. Frankly, I think you're better off updating to 4.2 since no one develops anything for 3.3

Download Leathl's ThemeMii, and just download the base app with that, but I would just upgrade to 4.2 IMO.

Or just don't install themes. You can theme a lot of homebrew apps, (all USB-loaders, mplayer, etc.) so why would you take the risk of bricking your friends wii?

He has Bootmii as Boot2. So bricking isn't a problem, and he wants the theme, so I'm just trying to gather accurate information since I'm a bit more proficient at understanding what goes on in the Wii than he is.
