OMG! I want this so much!

Check out more of them at http://dezaegg.com/p...?product_id=105

Sorry if this sounds like advertising...

wait, how do they do this? do they paint over the original paint job, or scrub the casing down and repaint it again? does it come with matte finish? because if it does, then i think it's definitely something i wanna check out. :)

yuck, my eyes! they all look horrible! you can buy a red 3ds officially who why would you waste time and money doing this? not that anyone would buy these custom 3ds in the first place.

1. IT BURNS MY EYES!
2. That is definitely just a render. Just look at the terrible AA

Funnily enough, it looks a lot like what my friends MC Mobs look like before he textures them.

That's a poor photoshop job using known renders. Real photos of custom paint jobs usually use real photos, where the system is on the work table, or other environment. The colors are jaggy, there is color burn in the highlights, so the topic should be titled "custom photoshop paintjob for nintendo 3DS."

As for the colors, some people would really dig the eye catching design, but they don't really appeal to my tastes.

(edit)

After clicking the link, I can see that this company does some cool paintjobs, but for the sake of showing the different designs, they have photoshopped the color onto the same renders. It would be nice to see what this looks like on a real 3DS.

Evangelion FTW

I think the red portion is a little bit off with the rest (purple and lime-green). The red portion would look smexier if it was black, while making the buttons red/orange/yellow. ^_^
