Gaming Custom Mario Bros games

I've come across a number of stand alone custom New Super Mario Bros games, and I was wondering if any of them are any good. Basically there for my 6 year old, so I don't want anything that's stupidly hard.

Some are, It depends on which ones you pick.
Although, most of them are on DS and if not, are more than likely not finished.

New Super Mario Bros 3 by SKJmin is a good custom game, Newer Super Mario Bros Wii isn't finished, but is near completion and New Retro Mario Bros Wii by Kajdan started a couple of days ago. There are loads of DS Hacks as above poster said. You can find them in the NDS - rom hacking and translations section and in the wii hacking section.
