This is what i was able to do with Spider3DSTools. its a code.bin file, going to try to make some kind of UI to allow the user to select what Pokemon to inject into the encounter tables, then release it.

Oh snap. Is this sorta like that regionthree exploit? Start Pokemon game, then home menu out to web browser and use your homebrew to inject said changes? This is sorta like the cheat code system. Now do a walk through walls cheat while you're at it. :D

I don't even play pokemon but this is some legit shit right here.

Here I was bugging out over compiling browserify for the past hour until I realized my AV was picking it up as a false-positive. Effin avast man.. GN

edit: Not even a false-positive, it was just straight up deleting it after it was compiled. Re-scanned after adding the folder exception, and now nothing. Weird as hell.. going to bed.

yea i saw that, but i don't really understand asm, i need it for c like to write it is
Code:
int(*IFile_Write)(void *this, unsigned int *written, void *src, unsigned int len) = 0x00168764;

The adress is 0x001686E0 for ifile_read, then its: *this, *totalread, *buffer, and read size

I think what Kazo did's more impressive, but this is also a thing:

Pokegenning without a flashcart/CyberGadet? ..... THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!

That is definitely going to change things. :D

I can definitely see the guys over at Pokecheck finding away of integrating this. ;)

I can see it now. Pokecheck Launcher.dat with it's own menu (for 9.2 and below users, 9.3/9.4 users will use a simplified version with preinjected PK6 files) to download PK6 files from Pokecheck. Then simply inject them into the still running Pokemon game. For those on 9.3/9.4, the launcher.dat/website payload would be generated serverside to include the PK6 files the user has on Pokecheck and via this exploit inject them into the game while it's running. :D

Then save game afterwords. Blamo! Pokecheck.org is back in business!
