I was going to mirror the page as 'launchregionthree4.me', and everything. ;-;

Make something that can actually temporarily change the region of the 3ds instead of force booting the cartridge! :D

EDIT:
I'd play with it, but I can't seem to get things to work with 8.x. Kind of sucks, honestly. I was looking into how to modify the existing offsets, but came up short. No one here seemed to have any responses.
Meh I'm not interested in 8.x :P I'm fully updated haha

Dump memory from 8.x, find data from 9.x offsets in 8.x dump. That's the lazy way. I guess you'd need a newer dump though?

Any clue how I can modify the offsets for 8.x? Links and explanation would be helpful.

I'm going to host Yifan's 'Regionthree without any .dat' here soon.

Would it be possible to host SciresM's Pokémon inyector without any files on the SD? Maybe it could read the .ekx from the server or work like this one, just without the need to have dist.bin in the SD:

ONLINE BOX1SLOT1 INJECTION

By scanning a crafted QR code, it injects a pokemon into box1 slot1

Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/24zv8voxgzef3c8/dist.zip?dl=0

Instructions:
0.- Extract dist.zip somewhere
1.- Put dist.bin in root folder of sd card
2.- Get into XYORAS
3.- Press HOME button and let the game run in background
5.- Press L+R to activate the camera and then touch the QR button
6.- Open upload.html in a browser that doesn't sucks
7.- Drag and drop a ekx/ek6/pkx/pk6 file into blue square
8.- This will generate a QR Code (dropping another file will regenerate the QR Code without having to refresh)
9.- Scan QR Code
10.- When browser crashes return to the game
11.- ????
12.- PROFIT!

1. His methods seem a bit beyond me.
2. I don't have much use for it.

I can see the pokemon injector/save injector not needing any files on the SD being useful for quite a bit of people. Not everyone has SD card readers believe it or not. I know of one or two on Skype that don't have any way of putting files on their SD card. :P (and no, they don't have a Gateway or can use CFW. Current MSETT rop installer for spiderhax still requires a file be placed on the SD card)

The problem is tar ROP buffer is too small to place additional download data there, so anyway files needs to be placed on SD anyway.

Well, it could be possible if you could find gadgets to the http:C service functions, and replace the method of reading the code from the sd with them. I have a code.bin that downloads data from the internet, but well it is still a file placed on the sd.

Apache Thunder can you zip on all the files on the link you posted on the first page so I can host it on a server with a shorter url?

edit: I mean on the [Beta] Spider Launcher.dat loader thread!

Err what? I didn't post anything on the first page...I just checked...Nope... :P

I've mirrored this and genned a QR code pointing to it for those brave enough to test this. I will not do so myself until I know it's safe:

Gateway_MSETT_Installer.png

(This QR code points to http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.com/apachethunder/Images/gateway/index_msett.html. Trust me it will be faster for you to use the QR code. :P )

The html file I pointed this two has a different file name but is identical to the one the original poster made in terms of what's contained inside the html file. I have other html loaders at the same folder location as this one, thus the reason for the custom file name. I know from experience testing my other ones that the different file names will not impact it's functionality. ;)

That was in a different thread. I did not mirror the code.bin file. You can download that from the original poster of that thread and frame.html I also have on that server at the same folder, so just change "index_msett.html" to "frame.html" to download that one. (or get it from Gateway's Go website as that file is the same pretty much for everything) The only file I mirrored was the index.html file.

Would it not be possible to Downgrade by having it do the Following?

Have a code.bin that will use the gateway.dg (downgrade file) to downgrade the 3ds by Perhaps using http://3dbrew.org/wiki/NIM_Services ??? Something about system update services in there, That's just an Idea not sure if it would actually be possible

That service and many more aren't accessible from spider. gateway.dg requires kernel access which again, it patched > 9.2. Even if you can invoke the updater, it's highly likely (aka, if not it's an exploit) that the 3ds checks the version before blindly downgrading your console.

How can someone with very little experience help you along with this? Dying to see this function.
