Homebrew Custom home menu?

It would be nice if we had a custom home menu which could show more than 300 games on the SD, could show games on your DS flashcart if you had it inserted, could launch .3dsx directly without needing to boot into homebrew launcher.

Is it possible to replace the default home menu with a custom one?

That's what CFW is for. However, something like that is impossible with the homebrew launcher, because kernel exploit. It sucks to be us with the updated 3DS!
