Custom Cheat Files

    Hey everyone on GBATemp, great to meet you all. First of all, I'm a DSi XL user with an M3i Zero with the new touchpod update 4.8, and I must say pokemon soulsilver now works like a breeze. Before I entered and exited a house and after 20 times it froze. Now with the new firmware I've tried 100+ times and no freeze, so I assume it's corrected [​IMG]. Anyways eh-erhm... to the main topic. I would like to know how do I create custom cheat files for my games, I know they can access the general cheat database, but we can also have seperate cheat files for our games right? I wanna know how to create them, if I need an application, etc... plz guys?

    but the database file I found is a .db file, and R4CCE is for DAT files right?

    download the XML,when your done editing it,save it as .db

    open notepad

    put your cheat code names in brackets like:

    [cheat code name1]
    XXXXXXXX xxxxxxxx

    [cheat code name 2]
    XXXXXXXX xxxxxxxx

    choose File>save as>save as type (All Files *.*) then type in a name like pokemonsilver.dht
    save it into your microsd and Select the new cheat file to use in the cheat menu
