I posted a while back saying what an awesome thread this is. And you've still managed to keep it awesome.

But just a quick question...actually two of them.

1. Is that "MPlayer DVD" the actual MPlayer that's on Hackmii? And it uses the actual DVD playback, or does it boot dvds from a memory card/flashdrive?

2. For the above poster by the name of, Cyber-T. When you said, "v3.0 online", do you mean that the new Guitar Hero Version has WiFi, or v3.0 has just been released online on some website?


EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!: I tried the MPlayer DVD wad and it is the same as Bushings actual MPlayer with DVD playback. Omfg, this is so awesome. I can finally delete those huge ass files for the MPlayer on my memory card now..Thanks so much!

EDIT ONCE AGAIN: Sadly, if you delete the whole MPlayer folder off your memory card after installing the channel for it, it does not work. I keep getting an error saying, "file cannot be found"And it scrolls like REALLY fast repeating the same thing. So keep all the files on the memory card and it should work. Darn >.< I really needed more memory card space too...

those files are requierd to run mplayer DVD.

The only thing that is being packed in the wad is the .DOL file from the MplayerDVD app.

Thats it.

Then there is the custom Banner that states that its the MplayerDVD channel.

I do not know in the near future if it will be possible to add in more files into wads, but as of now, no.

Any chance of updating the GeckoOS custom channel with the latest v1.06f update? It has fixed the annyoing time & date bug in previous versions, as well as various different improvements.

Aha OK, I would but I don't have a safe way of un-bricking if anything goes wrong. Am I wrong in thinking that there was a program released a while back that emulated the Wii System Menu? It was used for testing custom channels and banners before installing onto a Wii.

Let us know on here if you get the v1.06f version working, would be much appreciated. I've attempted myself injecting the new main.dol into the old v1.06d custom channel, but it doesn't work, no matter what.

You need to update Mplayer to version 0.05 not 0.04!
