Hardware Cursor jammed

Hi,
my cursor jams to the bottom right of the tv screen and stays there.
I have tried re-syncing the wiimotes, works for about 5 minutes.
Borrowed wiimotes and sensor bar, same issue.

I can use all other buttons on the wiimote when the cursor is frozen - doing my head in.

How does the wiimote communicate with the wii? Could the wireless chip in the wii be fried?

Since you seem to still be having problems with borrowed controllers and a sensor bar, it does indeed sound like the "Bluetooth Module" inside your Wii is dying. It's easily replaceable. DealExtreme has a replacement for cheap. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16026
