haha.. ok I'm getting confused again...

maybe I should insert a poll?
Just tell me what card I should get!

So main thing is to be able to play DS, GBA. GBColor games, emu's NEO GEO, SNES etc, and homebrew, and hopefully music at least. RTS would be nice, but not essential.

Well if I had to name "the best card at the best value" as stated in your first post that also does all the above, I would point towards the Cyclo. I've run through R4/M3, SCDS, & EZ-V and Cyclo's the best of those. I hear good standings for Acekard 2, so I wouldn't denounce that but someone correct me if I'm wrong in saying it currently doesn't have RTS support while Cyclo does.

So if by "best value" you don't mean the cheapest cost, then expect mostly Cyclo & Acekard answers. If I had to illustrate my point, I'd borrow mercluke's post:

m3's official firmware is kinda sluggish but sakura is quite stylish
scds1 has a sluggish gui too ( not as slow as it once was)
acekard 2's official menu is pretty meh although akaio is a great alternative with extremely good support
ttds is pretty much dead
stay away from anything with r4 in the name
DS-X is dead (except in p1ngpong's heart)
cyclo is great although there's no dsi variant
ezv is kinda meh..
The only flaws mentioned are either a meh menu or no DSi version (& you're running Lite so that's not even a real negative for you haha)

Where's the best online place to buy either a cyclo or an acekard 2? I'm looking at dealextreme at the moment but I can't seem to find a cyclo?

thanks

oh yeh, im based in Australia at the moment

I'm also looking at this so I can play GBA games, http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14793 for some reason the EZFlash Vi Plus (Lite/Compact Edition) is cheaper than the non compact edition?
Someone mentioned I need pass me or something?

oh and great, there are like 5 different versions of EZV?? @_@ which one do you recomend? or are they all basically the same? iV V and the 3 in 1?

thanks heaps guys

i'd recommend getting an ezflash 5 3in1 instead of an ez4 as you can load gba games directly from akaio (ak2 alt menu) if you use this one where as with ez4 you'd need to boot into gba mode to load gba games

While the 3in1 slot-2 expansion pack is only supported officially by EZ-Flash, other slot-1 carts can use it too through Rudolph's GBA ExpLoader. So you don't necessarily have to settle for EZ-Flash as other carts can play GBA games using the same support, unless I'm missing another reason you're thinking about.

if you feel it's good,it must be proper,if not,don't choose it,so easy,
yah, you should only choose a flash cartridge which is good because if it isn't good then it isn't proper. So if it isn't good don't choose it, so easy.
