Homebrew Ctr-httpwn problem

So I have pokemon moon and I got a code from gamestop is a code to get a pokemon I try redeeming the code in the pokemon game but it keeps asking me I need to update my 3ds to do it. My 3ds is on version 11.2.0 it's not a CFW 3ds only have hombrew on it i used ctr-httpwn but it keep saying I need to update anyone know what's wrong?

iirc, ctr-httpwn doesn't work on extended memory mode games on o3DS systems. Pokemon Moon is one such extended memory mode game. You have to update or use a n3DS and use ctr-httpwn. There's nothing else you can do, unfortunately.

3rd option: Install CFW since you're on 11.2 then update and go online all you want to Lol

There's no reason you shouldn't be running cfw, just like Majickhat says. It's free and easy on your firmware. https://3ds.guide
It doesn't mean you have to be a pirate or risk being banned. Just don't install cias or cheat online.

You're on a Golden Firmware to get CFW on, you're extremely lucky. DON'T BLOW YOUR CHANCE!
