I think its fake, they announced it when the 3DS came out after what 1-2 months ? No progress has been made on it since last year

I wouldn't say fake, because the general idea of the cart would've worked. The initial problem is after a few more games were released, they realized the method of which they were planning on using (1:1 copy) would have been completely impractical: either the card would be too thick or too long to compensate for the each chip used in each 3DS game. The last we knew, they were trying to find a workaround (which is where they got stuck) but as you can see, this hasn't happened and I severely doubt will ever happen.

Yes there are a number of people still holding out hope for the Crown3DS. In fact they went from 72% to 73% on their progress bar (after our thread here had been closed for about four months) and I got messages from five or six people saying I should re-open the thread.

But it seemed to me that all they were trying to do is keep donations and pre-orders coming in.

I think we're more likely to see an Earth-shattering apocalypse in December than to ever see the Crown3DS available for sale.
