So I want to create an emunant for stalling more titles (Hit the limit) and experimenting. Can I create one without formatting my SD card? Thanks for any answers!

Nope! Creating a proper emuNAND will always reformat your SD card. So you are just better off backing it up, creating your emuNAND, then restoring everything.
There was some talk a while back about putting emunand at the "end" of the sd card, but I don't think it went too far. Just back up your sd card (which you should probably already be doing) and use emunand9 to setup emunand.

Doesn't seem like you can since the emunand file on your sd card is invisible I beleave so you can't just drag and drop it over.
Edit-A emunand is basically a injected format of your sysnand that runs off your sd card,injecting that format on a non emunand formatted sd card makes it impossible since it has the wrong format.
