I've setup redNAND on my system for safety purposes as I'm making an attempt to create an installable homebrew title.

I'd like to create a BTSND file to go with it, should I ever get something working. (BTSND is the file containing the music that plays on the splash screen.)

Is this possible? I know I can play them back using vgmstream and foobar2000, but unfortunately vgmstream cannot convert other audio tracks into BTSND as far as I know.

I have the leaked SDK (v2.13.01), so I'm willing to bet there is a program in there for it, but I haven't dug through it yet to find out.

@punderino did this with SysConfigTool. Like the "Can't Touch This" song when launching. Eventually, someone will figure it out.

Yep, that's another thing that made me wonder how it could be done.

That would be cool. I've always wanted that. It's only a matter of time until somebody makes a tool to convert music to btsnd.

Well now I feel dumb. I opened up that program myself and just completely looked over the convert boot sound option.

    Thank you!

Hey, one more question. Is it safe to actually run the cafe.bat file, since we obviously don't have dev kits? Or is there no point in doing so?

if you hex edit D:\cafesdk\CafeSDK\SDK\cafe_sdk\system\bin\tool\mastering\resources\makemaster\tik_sys.bin and replace it with the wii u common key instead of the dev common key, anything you compile will be retail packed. thats what i did for system config tool

If something is "retail" packed, what would happen if it was installed on sysNAND?

Sorry, I'm a bit of a newcomer to Wii U hacking. I only recently started learning how to code from WiiUBrew, the tutorials available on here, and of course the examples available from libwiiu.

I made this little tool today. Really nothing special, just repacking the file with a different head + endian.

    https://bitbucket.org/timogus/wav2btsnd

You need to use RIFF WAVE files, 48000khz, 16bit stereo

(Can't create a proper thread for it, have to wait 24h, lol)

I'm sorry for asking this, because I know you have already answered it, but where can I download cafe sdk and that addon with app config tool? I was looking for it everywhere but I didn't find anything usable.. Can you give me a link or a "hint"? I don't know what pastebin page are you talking about, sorry.
