Homebrew Cracked DS Games

I really need help. I downloaded cracked versions of Blue Dragon Awakened Shadow and Demetium II, but when I put the cheat file on with the cheats on, nothign came up. his happens every time I put a cracked game on my R4. What's going on? I want to be able to use cheats here. Please, help.

Elixir, can't you make an AP patch cheat so the OP wouldn't have to use cracked ROMs and go through all the hassle of changing the Game ID? Or is there already a cheat like that?
