The reason I like, and respect your forwarder so much, is that it's true to the source from which it comes. Many forwarders I see (Like USB Loader GX) are well made, but don't reflect the loader itself. Instead of making a fancy forwarder that you could swap the text, and use for anything, you've gone out of your way to emulate the behaviour of the loader itself.

If/when Hibern releases an official version, I think this forwarder should be part of the package (if he agrees). Any luck on the music/sound yet?

wath type of music you like , i think it all depend about that , if your not thinking about artist , i would go for the original song of the Nes Classic Super Mario Bros , first stage music , if you like trans music i would go for Paul Oakenfold , if you like rock music Metallica , the song: One from And Justice for All ,

if you like rap i would go for the Classic CypressHill ,

it all depend about taste :S , but i would go for a Nintendo Classic
 
Hey, as a noob to this sorta' thing, could anyone give me some info on how you get Wii games to run off USB/SD/whatever?

Aren't 'ISO's the main file of a game? Like Roms for DS & stuff?



By the way that GUI (Graphical User Interface - yeh I know what that is!) is brilliant.

When'll we be able to get it?

Hmmm... the Nintendo classic idea works, but I'd definitely say none of the others. If spayrosam is trying to make a forwarder that lots of people will like to use, then he's not going to want to alienate a large part of the user base due to the music.

Definitely a soft, Nintendoey sound. Something that won't get irritating after hearing it repeatedly. Definitely no song/artist that can be easily recognized. Unfortunately, I can't offer a specific sound, but try to go for something that fits with all of the other Wii sounds.

+1 for me

No need to add sound, especially with how nice your animation is. Of course if anyone wishes sound they can use wadder and add something to their own taste. I've been adding a silent.mp3 to a load of channels to match my own taste

IMO the perfect forwarder would simply match WiiFlow. Animated boxes, zoom in display the title, touch of colour to match the default theme and no delay when launching. i.e straight into "please wait".

I do not feel any need to display additional loading screens or busy title pages. The application itself is very clean and tidy the forwarder should simply mirror that.

unlucky , it's impossible , there will always be a little time before the loader launch..
and that's why some forwarder have splash screen or progress bar , just to make you wait with something , instead of a black screen....

Agreed. Now that you've pointed out that WiiFlow is silent, it actually seems odd for the forwarder to have sound.

This is a good choice.

Looking forward to the new forwarder.

AND keeping my fingers crossed for the next release of WiiFlow with some of the bugs ironed out.

There's a solution : make a real channel, since my goal is not to release 36 versions of wiiflow. Only one version, and maybe a bugfix one a few days later.
About bugs : please everyone gather as many known bugs as possible and give me the list. I can't guess them, and i have to admit i don't remember many.

I'm near a final version. For the first time since long ago i've had a rather productive week, making progress on every evening, and i'll be able to release the final version soon, because this time i should be satisfied about it

There are several ideas i'll have to give up, but the most important things should there this time.
Next week-end seems too short for me, sorry, unless i start private testing by then and hire you as a tester.
