WHEN IS COVERFLOW GOING TO HAVE FAT 32 COMPATIBLE

When you stop shouting at us in CAPS...

Seriously, don't expect us to do much coding over Christmas - would you?! If this latest build gives us the stability that early tests indicate then I'm sure we'll add FAT32/NTFS support in the New Year.

Fishears,

Thanks man, keep up the good work!

Hi,

Love the app - but encountered an issue. I downloaded the r1036 today and replaced the boot.dol on my SD card (previous version replaced was r1006). However, now my Forwarder channel is not working. I am using the "Alternative Forwarder by TroyTheZombie". When I load the channel it just hangs at the blue "now loading..." screen.

r1036 works from HBC - tested.

What am I doing wrong - do I need to reinstall the forwarder?

Thanks!

For Whatever reason, this app has issues with Forwarders. I have tried 2 or 3 different Forwarders, and have never found any of them to be completely reliable. One of the main issues I've read is that it will crash almost consistantly if the Nunchuck is plugged in when you start the app. Try disconnecting it for a moment to see if that helps. I've given up on the forwarder out of frustration, until the actual coders of the loader release something. You could try some different ones and see if you have any luck with them. (And let us know which ones)

This one always works, never had a problem, with or without nunchuck

Unfortunately, I have the same problem as mstrkrft.

The loader hangs at the "Now Loading.." screen for me to. The other loader on the projects google code site dumps on me too. Works fine from the Homebrew screen.

Would love to get a launcher to work.

Me 2, the only way I can use CoverFloader is thru HBC.

every single time im trying to play new super mario bros wii it say eject disc read wii operations manual

One thing I haven't tried, but am curious about is this:
Can you specify which cIOS to use when dumping a game?
If not, would you have to modify the files to use a specific IOS as default, just to do so.

The reason I ask is that I dumped SSBB on a revision without DL support, and need to redump it with Hermes.

I for one have had no problems; and after getting rev15, Metroid Prime 3 finally works in Metroid Trilogy.

All sunshine and rainbows running 4.0U with latest CF.

But oddly enough; on a topic completely unrelated. My disc copy of SSBB will no longer work in my system. I have one the the first released Wii's with the disk drives that have trouble reading duel layered disks so the only way to play the game for me was to start the system up by inserting the disk, but now my wii ejects the disk and shuts off. Weird stuff. I never was able to rip the game onto hard drive through CF or any USB loader; I have a computer for that!

Yes that was an old update, you need it to play the game by disk, but this is a physical error of the laser in the disk drive. Nintendo did offer a cleaning pack at that time to help owners out with this problem. Metroid Prime Trilogy has the same problem on my wii, but at least the disk still works.

As I said before, completely off topic

Could I request someones help compiling the latest svn using this fix(scroll down to giantpune's post, it contains the code). I'd like to test it out but I'm not much in the know how of compiling source code.

If this fix works, maybe it could be added in permentaly.

I didn't see any mention of this in the thread, but does CF support "hi-def" larger cover art? It only recognizes the standard-def covers (the 500x300something size). These HD arts are widely available on WiiTDB and elsewhere and they would make the app look even better on large TV's, so is there any plan to support them?

I don't think larger image files are possible. The Wii can only output 480p which is not close to HD at all and I would think it to be a hardware problem more then any software one. Remember, Nintendo made the system cheap so it could be sold for cheap meaning no powerful signals will ever pass through those wires into the back of your TV.

lolz

i think he means higher res images like what wiiflow and cfg can use 1024x680 instead of 512x340

Higher res images would be really nice, and that way you could actually read whats on the back if you zoomed in to a cover. It wouldn't be all blurry.

This.

I know it wouldn't make a huge difference even on 480p, but it would be nice to have support for. Is it doable?
