New forwarder? I compared the one in 1.0 and the one in 1.1 archive and they are both the same. Where can you get 1.1 forwarder please.
You are right...
in the 1.0 distribution the file is named "CoverFloader1.0-Forwarder.wad" while in the 1.1 distribution it is "CoverFloader-Forwarder.wad"
I assumed they to be different since the name change, but actually they both have been made on July 7, 2009, 22:49....
Yes, the forwarder seems not to be updated....

Not quite sure there would really be anything to update on the forwarder other than graphics/sounds. At any rate, ALL forwarders do the same (and really are interchangeable as the each just point to a specific folder) I used the reg usbloader forwarder for coverflow for the longest time (well until the release of the new one). Originally, I just put my CF dol, meta, and png in the folder that the particular loader was pointing too.

at any rate ..worst case scenario....2 extra clicks (might not want to be TOO complacent after all)

I have said this twice..will do again....three times will hopefully be a charm, and noone has yet remarked that it DOESN'T work. Have you guys ever stopped to think its maybe on YOUR end? If you get a freeze or code dump turn off BOTH the Wii and Harddrive. Turn Wii on...turn HDD on...viola (at least 98% of the time it does it for me)

There is such a range of things that can occur between the HDD and the Wii ....it is not CLOSE to a perfect connection 100% of the time. Errors can occur ESPECIALLY if you have an HDD that winds itself down after a period of time.

give it a try....

Upgraded to 1.1 by just replacing the files. Worked first time through original channel loader and every time since

The only problem I can find is that when I asked it to use 3 dcovers, (I normally use 2d) it went online, downloaded them but it wont display them Just keeps the 2d ones showing.

Delete the 2D ones from your SD card and redownload the 3D ones.

how to use a normal .gct in sd:/codes/ with this loader?
I want to play SSBB+ with my RSBE01.gct in SD:/codes/RSBE01.gct
It's just looking for the RSBE01.txt in sd:/usb-loader/txtcodes =/
help please
This is possible with recent svn builds. I changed the dependencies so that you can turn cheats on without having a txt file present. That's what you need.
So, with which svn build is it possible? - I'd want it. =)
Thanks a lot for your reply!

It worked only prob was then that 12 of the games found no coverart. I'll stick with 2d for now. It may be the 4/6 digit thing and I can't be arsed checking but thanks for coming back to me Logan

I have this problem with this loader. I've brought it up several times. It never seems to get fixed so I just do without the covers when using this loader, otherwise I use GX.

Been trying to get Covers on this loader forever. Says it DL'd them but nothing shows up in the folder. So I manually DL'd one and put in the folder myself but it still didn't show up.

That's funny, with this build if there isn't a 3-D cover available, then it uses the flat Z(if available). When using regular covers, if unavailable it will use a 3-D (if available). The ONLY time you should not have a cover at all ...is if its a new game and just hasnt been updated yet at WiiTDB (I had this when I first grabbed Birthday Party Bash last week)

@ Logan .. just stop. Every other post you are complaining or disrespectful to the devs. I for one am tired of seeing that. You act as if the devs arent concerned with fixing the tool. You are VERY far from being right. You REALLY need to learn the virtues of patience mate. As for the above quote...this WAS fixed. WiiTDB isn't 100% perfect quite yet...close though.

It seems as though something goes wrong, you IMMEDIATELY wanna spit and holler at the devs, instead of looking at the BIG picture. In the case of the Wii, the HDD, the sys menu, IOS, cIOS, the loader, wiiTDB, and the end users ability to understand... these ALL play a factor in the big picture. You need to start looking at where something is going wrong instead of just jumping at this loader and the devs. Please stop being disrespectful with the snarky comments, learn patience, and if this loader is THAT bad....use the other you are so fond of telling us you use...with every other post.

1) Make sure you have the newest Coverfloader
2) Delete ALL images from ALL three folders (the tree is below)
3) Rerun the app

QUOTE(UltraBro @ Jul 26 2009, 08:02 PM) Where exactly is the folder located that you put your covers in? In the SD card?

SD Root -->usb-loader then you have:
3dcovers
covers
disks

Not for me. Doesn't display 2D covers. Wii Sports Resort no cover shows.

LOL I am not disrespectful. Stop getting so tetchy FFS. If the devs feel I'm being disrespectful they should learn to not take everything read on the internet to heart. Like anything I say anyway, is going to have any impact.

How's the smell by the way? Must be quite strong seeing how far up the devs arse you are.

No you're just too fucking sensitive. Go watch a chick flick, let those emotions out.

@Rutny
And as I stated, other loaders get the cover images just fine.

For anyone that is interested, I can confirm this loader is working on cIOS rev 14.
