So last year I was trying to make this Rom hack of Alpha Sapphire. Well I was using both "3DS Banner Maker" and "BannerTool" to create them. My problem is, if I go to create a new .cgfx file in EFE it refuses to load my model half the time. Eventually I got it to load, just a "flat" model with my texture but I've no idea how to add animations. I tried using the "default_banner.cfgx" and just importing my model/textures with Ohana and saving it but I can't get Ohana to recognize the model (original or rebirth).
When I was having this problem before someone on here helped me (more or less). When I say helped, they basically took my model, built the banner and sent me a .gif to show they did it and it worked. Yet, they never explained to me how they did it, or gave me the finished banner. Which now in hindsight, seems like it was a bit patronizing; but also showed me it was possible without NW4C (which is complicated as hell Lol).
So anyway, this is what I ended up with (which isn't TOO bad [Be better if it moved] but it's not what I wanted.
And this is the model I was trying to replace with Ohana (so it could have animation). I couldn't figure out how to add skeletal animation to a newly created .cgfx for the life of me, if that's even possible. I dunno.
I used Cinema4D to make the model and exported it as .obj to use with EFE but yeah, nothing I do seems to work. If someone would be kind enough to build the banner for me and share the .bnr? Or at the very least please walk me through the process? I've been through tons and tons of tutorials, literally months of trying to figure it out myself (except that one person that "helped") but it's really gnawing at me that they were able to buld my banner with my model in less than 10 minutes and wouldn't tell me how. If you can help I'd really appreciate it.
