Found something interesting about BOTW Switch 2 Edition. It’s not just a patch. It’s a SEPARATELY COMPILED BUILD (switch2 launch logo) that doesn’t run in backward compatibility mode, unlike, for example, Mario Odyssey, which just got an update(switch1 launch logo). The game runs natively and still allows importing save files from the original Switch - a console that’s been moddable for years. If a modified save can be transferred from Switch 1 to the Switch 2 Edition, this could be a potential attack vector. Especially since the Switch 2 Edition doesn’t run in the original Switch environment.
How realistic is this vector? Could it be useful for further research? (image not mine)

This has been brought up even b4 the switch2 launch as a theory. Thats all it is for now a theory, Its not going to get hacked anytime soon. It will take years for an exploit to show light.

This is how a game was exploited on release day of the Switch 2. The problem is that userland exploits are useless on Switch. Without a kernel exploit, you can't do anything useful.
