Trying to use SX 2.01 to install the following NSP's:

Super_Smash_Bros_Ultimate_Update_v1.1.0
Arcade_Archives_DOUBLE_DRAGON_II_The_Revenge

and I am getting the error "could not read NSP".

When I see the files in the Sx OS installer menu there are no thumbnails just blank and white. Tried re copying to mem card a few times and no luck

Did you check to see if your SD card is fake or not? If you haven't, use a program like h2testw or FakeFlashTest? And it doesn't matter where you bought it or how trustworthy the reseller is, fakes are sold everywhere.

Going along with what @Draxzelex said. I've had this happen to me in 2 instances.
1) Crap SD Card
2) Bad copy of the nsp/XCI

SD Card is genuine but I think it's because I am not on 6.2 and the newer updates require it

The nsps are probably signed with a 6.2 firmware keys which is why the installer cant read them. Given that you're using SXOS, you're probably using <6.2 as SXOS hasn't released the update yet

@Mat37 @subcon959 -> my google powers must not be as good as yours, but I appreciate the info, I'm definitely continuing the quest.
You can find the DLCs on a well known games sharing discord server. For the update i only found it on the french server for games. (not giving any links for obvious reasons)

For anyone else still getting the "Could not read NSP" and are running Switch firmware 6.2.0 and SX OS 2.4b (though I've heard reports that this has been happening for a while, this should still fix things):

Download the Tinfoil NRO
Make sure you have a folder structure like this: (root of microsd)/tinfoil/nsp/(your nsp's here)
Run that in SX OS
Install NSPs using the prompts

Update: Tinfoil workaround no longer needed. Issue fixed in SX OS 2.4.1b
