Trucha Bug Restorer 1.1

FAQ:

Q: What's this good for?
A: The TBR is to get IOS with the trucha bug on all Wiis with system menu up to 4.2. Usually the error codes
-1017 and -2011 indicate that the trucha bug is required and missing.

wat IOS are you using for wad manager?

found on wehackwii dot com :

after 4.2 update:

-Download and run Dop-IOS.
-Using Dop-IOS, downgrade IOS30 to v1040 (fixes "no vulnerable IOS's found" error, if you need to run the HackMii Installer again).
-Using Dop-IOS, reinstall the latest IOS61 without the sig-hash fix (fixes the upside-down Homebrew Channel).

1. He can't downgrade IOS, we know that already
2. Lol. Seriously. Lol. IOS30v1040???

+---> yes, that worked for me.

And does that mean it works on all Wiis? Especially new Wiis where most IOS from up to 3.2 do not work?

i think, the aim is that hackmii installer have to find a vulnerable ios even if this one is not used.
IOS30 v1040 is no more used in 4.2. (just tell me if i am wrong)

ok ! MAYBE it'is not working on new wii...
BUT maybe WIIMONKEY can try it on his WII to see if it can solve the problem on his case ?

1. We already know he can't downgrade IOS
2. Why use an IOS that may work on his Wii, maybe not, instead of using the latest IOS36, that does not require a downgrade and works on all Wiis?

ok that's what i've done:

1.Download and run Waninkoko's Firmware Updater v4.2.
2.Download and run Dop-IOS.
3.Using Dop-IOS, downgrade IOS30 to v1040 (fixes "no vulnerable IOS's found" error, if you need to run the HackMii Installer again).
4.Download and run hackmii installer v0.6
4.Using Dop-IOS, reinstall the latest IOS61 without the sig-hash fix (fixes the upside-down Homebrew Channel).

you see, no downgrade, just install an useless ios30 v1040, that worked for my WII

I know exactly how to fix both errors, and i know why you get them, there's nothing you need to tell me. Installing IOS30v1040 is a downgrade on all Wiis that updated to 3.3 or higher with a regular method.

i am not giving lessons, just telling what's worked for my WII.
This maybe not the best solution but i worked in my case.
